Marketing Analytics ·Confidential, multi-channel ad analytics platform

Weekly marketing reporting moved from a stack of hand-merged spreadsheets to one dashboard that is already current.

A marketing team pulling Meta, Google, TikTok and Snapchat numbers out of dozens of exports every week, and deciding on data that was already days old.

Where this fits

Best for marketing teams stitching Meta, Google, TikTok and Snapchat numbers together by hand every week.

One developer. Two months. Four ad channels in one place. Six hours of weekly reporting gone.

  • Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat
  • Retool on PostgreSQL
  • Budget scenario modeling

What we did

  • Pulled four ad platform APIs into one PostgreSQL model
  • Built campaign comparison and sales impact tracking in Retool
  • Added budget scenario modeling on top of the same data
  • Replaced the weekly CSV export and Excel merge entirely

Result

The team compares campaigns and tracks sales impact in one place, on data that arrives on its own. The weekly report that used to take around six hours of exporting and merging is now close to zero, and every decision runs on the same numbers.

Platform overview: spend, ROAS, purchases and CAC per channel side by side, with contribution margin, MER and blended CAC above. Seven day window.

The hard part

Pulling four ad APIs is the easy half. Each network counts a conversion on its own attribution window and its own rules, so adding the four totals together gives a number that is confidently wrong. The work is deciding whose number wins for which question, and making that choice visible in the dashboard instead of buried in a query.
